Begin your morning with a hotel pickup and comfortable transfer to the airport. After a short domestic flight to Cairo, your Egyptologist will greet you and guide you throughout your day.

Your first stop is the legendary Giza Plateau, where you'll stand before the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Explore the mortuary temples of Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure, and hear the fascinating stories behind their construction.

Next, marvel at the mighty Great Sphinx, with the body of a lion and the face of Pharaoh Chephren. Visit the Valley Temple, an architectural masterpiece of ancient engineering.

After lunch at a traditional local restaurant, the tour continues south to Saqqara, home of the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the earliest large-scale cut stone construction. Then visit Memphis, Egypt’s ancient capital, and admire the colossal statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx.

The day concludes with check-in at a comfortable hotel in Cairo, where you’ll enjoy dinner and the chance to unwind. In the evening, you may choose to attend the Sound & Light Show at the pyramids (optional), a dramatic retelling of Egypt’s ancient past.

After breakfast and check-out, the day begins in central Cairo with a visit to the world-famous Egyptian Museum. Explore an unrivalled collection of artefacts spanning over 5,000 years, including the treasures of Tutankhamun.

Following a break for lunch at a local restaurant, continue your journey through history with a visit to the Citadel of Saladin and the striking Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha.

End your Cairo adventure with a stroll through the vibrant Khan El Khalili Bazaar, the city’s oldest and most colourful market, perfect for finding souvenirs and experiencing the local atmosphere.

In the late afternoon, you’ll be transferred back to Cairo Airport for your return flight to Hurghada.
